Prince of Persia

I'm half half. Gylenhal doesn't stick out like a sore thumb there as much as I would think, probably because the "Persians" are more white than anything.

Looks interesting but has a chance at being poopooish. Right now it's just a bunch of showy material, and didn't get a feel for the story. The "parkour leaping around" stuff didn't look too bad, though hopefully it doesn't dominate the film.

I shall see, but with the way game movies have been, and the way the trailer looks, I smell a bomb.
 
EHHH, trailer looks crappy. They look like they're trying to sell it as a Pirates of the Caribbean spin off or something.
 
Wow, those last two shots are pretty epic. Man I would love to have the VFX skill to pull that off. Someday perhaps....but I would probably need the sands of time...
 
Saw it in theaters (nothing much else left to see). While Rotten Tomatoes has it at about 40% I surprisingly enjoyed it. It was batter than I expected... It didn't scream "video game movie!" to me and could have been far worse.
