EVA1: Price drop in UK?

Hi,

I have just noticed that EVA1 got 450 pounds discount in UK. Thats pretty nice. Discount is valid till the end of June.

It's a cash back from Panasonic, not a front end discount. You have to pay full price or whatever the dealer charges and then claim the £450 cash back from Panasonic.

It's actually an instant cashback, you just enter a code on checkout.

There's also a 500 EUR equivalent across Europe, again instant.

Does anyone know if the UK sold cams are identical to US bodies?

They may be, but they likely have different serial number sequences to identify the warranty by country/region. Buy an out of country/region camera and you may not get a warranty.

You get a warranty, but you have to have it serviced through that territory. That can be a pretty expensive shipping fee.
