If you are so inclined, you can check out the teaser trailer of my short comedy. It's here:

Feel free to pick it apart like a pack of ravenous wolverines,

If you're curious, it WAS shot with a Panasonic 3 chip camera, just not a DVX. The image quality here is part of what prompted my DVX purchase. Enjoy. - C

Re: Preview of my short comedy.

If you boost the saturation and do a little color correction, I think it would look 10 times better. Just my opinion..

Re: Preview of my short comedy.

Thanks, I agree, the actual feature has been completely color corrected. I didn't color correct the preview because I was in a hurry to get it our before the 1st screening this weekend. Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate that you took you time to look at it, thanks. - C.

Re: Preview of my short comedy.

im assuming this will get moved to the cafe since it was not shot with a DVX , and this section is for DVX clips and footage, ::) but that aside ..

heres some suggestions for you to make it be all it can be ..of course all is IMHO.

#1-lose the cheesy title boinging out of he screen at the end. just stik with something plain and normal. it will look more professional .

#2-add some music to fit the mood.

#3- find someone who can do a more professional sounding voiceover, and record a better quality VO

#4- use at least bit of movement in the shots.. static shots are stale, and often let people look at and pay atention to alot in the shot besides whats important and what you want them to look at.

other than that it looks pretty good :) . for the type of production it is i think it would be really well done if these little things were done to increase its production value. on a side note.. for it being a preview/trailer for a comedy.. I didnt find it very comedic/funny, but thats completely subjective. :-/

anyway.. good job. ..was i ravenous enough? ;)
