Any tips? I accidentally breathed down my VF tube, fogging it up, and when I tried to wipe it with a microfiber cloth, ended up making a smeary mess. Had to use multiple bits of lens tissue to clear it up. Must be a better way.
Ive used a defogger before that wouldnt clean away without smearing and being painful to get rid of. Hows the one at filmtools in this regard? DO you know the brand?
Reading Filmtools' webpage for Clarity, where it says "no longer use battery-hungry VF warmers" gave me a thought. Anyone try using a chemical handwarmer gaffed to the VF to warm it up & prevent condensation? Those hand packs are small & lightweight... I was planning on trying them on my batteries in cold shoots aas well.
