Pretty Awesome TV spot shot on Nikon D90

that was done pretty well. I wonder if the forum will allow this!! No politics!! LOL. Just kidding of course. But that was a good example of what VDSLRs can be used for

VERY COOL! Nice to see someone use the D90. I think it's obvious that its shortcomings have cost it "video" marketshare. I know it is a great photography camera, but I just wonder how much it could really do if somone just committed to work around its problems and use it anyway. Thanks for posting that!

Good spot, catches your attention and holds it throughout, gets it's message across, but I'm not sure how much the D90 had to do with that. You probably could have shot that same spot on just about anything and had it be just as effective. The fast cuts and effects made the spot visually interesting not the D90.

There were a couple of excellent shots. Overall good camera work and to the point editing. I didn't like the look and the ad itself was totally cliché. Being conservative doesn't justify that. :)

It was edited the way it was mainly to attract the younger audiences. My brother (who was the one who made this ad) made a another TV spot similar to this one without all the flashy shots.

looks good. we have been using our d90 for similar work. i haven't posted any stuff too much work at present. if i get time i will.

i especially like how one can play with the white balance cards and the settings to production some really neat effects.

has anyone tried converting the material to other frame rates?

Yhea... It was nothing personal. Ben did a great job. But thegeneral style in American media when it comes to news, politics, talk shows and commercials for example is just vulgar in my opinion. :)

...yeah... and I love those little red fish you guys make!

soooo many thoughts, jokes, observations and opinions... but I don't wanna get banned...

I'm just gonna run away screaming before my head explodes:
AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

No politics
ok, so taste is politics? and what my american friends happen to think is politics? give me a break. i see where the warning came from though, and it was certainly called for. flame wars are sometimes fun but always counter-productive. as for the fish i don't think we make them or ever did, we just put our name on them. :-)
