I'm thinking that did not mean taking them them out for a drink and rubbing their shoulders.  That sound bite was meant to approach the matter of terrorist's delicatley and not SHOCK AND AWE and HELL BE DAMNED what happens.  The fact is, these so called TERRORIST mean business and we need to treat them as such and not underestimate them.

I think Kerry's point is that he doesn't want to anger the international community: those who disagree with our response to terrorism, ie the French. I wonder if the French would have felt differently about Iraq if they had 3,000 civilians killed? Kerry wants to be everything to everybody! How do you do that? You be SENSTIVE to everyone! Is this really the attitude we need in this day and age?

"Kerry is honored in the "War Remnants Museum" in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, for his "heroic" contributions to the North Vietnamese victory" "

(It's nice to hear that Kerry's international sensitivity to communism got him in a museum)

If he gets elected, I'd hate to see history repeat itself in some Int'l Terrorist museum.

This has already gone south. It was supposed to be a discussion on the candidates, not whether the Iraq war was justified or someone's ad was defamatory or whatnot.

I guess it lasted longer than 12 hours, but as David said, the snowball's broken loose. Your call, John.
