Can someone please expalin the difference between a pre-set and a scene file? Thanks.

The 150 comes with 6 pre-set scene files. Meaning they are set up from the factory. Of course they are fully customizable.

Each scene file has it own look and image felling. It simply changes the cameras imagesettings.

I know what a scene file is, I just didn't realized a "pre-set" is the same thing. The manual barely mentions a "pre-set," as if it is something different. I don't know why it just doesn't call the feature one thing---a scene file.

There are also WB presets.

A scene file is a type of preset just like the white balance presets but most of the settings can be customised. The two terms are terefore not the same.
