PreRecord using FS-100 does not seem to work

I cannot get the prerecord to function. I have tried to set the FS-100 to normal and have the HVX do it and I have set the Prerecord on the hvx 200 to off and set the FS-100 to prerecord cache and prerecord disk and none of it seems to work.

I called the Focus people and they had no other suggestions. Has anyone else some idea about how to make this work. It seems to cool to miss out on!
