Prep for Island Doc -- advice?

Hey, been lurking here for a while and am about to shoot a documentary around the Chesapeake Bay with the HVX. I'm stuck waiting on the 64gb P2 e-series to drop in August so I thought I'd get straight with all you think I'd need. Catch is I'm working almost entirely as a 2-man team, outdoors-- audio is what I'm most worried about.

Here's the plan: I've already got a mic kit (Sennheiser K3-N + ME80 + ME20 + ME40 + case + cable) as well as a decent Sennheiser wireless lav + receiver. I've got about 1.5k to blow on accessories. I've heard the throw on the ME80 is 4-6' so I figured a simple Rycote pistol grip kit would be enough for my buddy to hold (B&H link). I had planned on going wired directly into the camera but obviously if there's some kind of cheap wireless/mixer solution anyone can throw at me, that would be prime-- right?

Also going for a linear polarizer and the Comer CM-LBPS900 top light for night/indoor situations. Besides a DIY raincover, that's about all I could think of.
I've got a super-decent tripod and all kinds of storage covered already. Any suggestions? Am I way off? Any must-have items?

Thanks ahead.

Guessing I should have posted in a subforum-- really just trying to make sure I'm not throwing money in the wrong direction. Any comments at all about the HVX re: doc format equipment would help.

I suggest going wired instead of wireless whenever you can and think about having your buddy use a boom pole instead of a pistol grip, just because of the versatility in keeping the mic close and on the edge of your frame. A lot of it depends on what kind of specific interview shots or whatever your going to stage but a boom is nice whenever there is distance or movement taking place.

Yayyy for the polarizer!! That is a big plus on making distant scenic shots much more pleasant to look at. I say a good polarizer is very well worth the money spent.

Good luck, I hope all goes well :)

Thanks, see your point. Went for a fairly inexpensive 8ft boom. HD polarizer also on the way. Any other HVX-200 a la documentary tidbits?
