I would have to agree. Unless you are creating a SoundBooth score to match up with a finished sequence, the dynamic link feature for importing an entire PP sequence does not appear that useful yet. It might be better to just import the individual clips that need audio work directly and outputting an ASND file to link back up in your PP sequence. Check out this thread on how others are working around this limitation.

Perhaps CS5 will give us the type of interaction with individual clips that we really want. Maybe we'll even get to use VST or other third party plugins. One can dream.
Yeah that process is way too much work. I prefer exporting my project as an AAF and importing the AAF into Vegas for audio work. The only problem is that if you have multiple sequences in Premiere, they all come into ONE project in Vegas, which doesn't allow multiple sequences per project. Each project in Vegas is basically a sequence. The end result of importing a multisequence AAF from Premiere is basically a timeline in Vegas that has ALL your sequences in it. Kind of annoying but it's better than the method from the Adobe forums.
A better thing would probably be to get ProTools, export an OMF file, and import that into protools.
I wish Premiere could export an AAF for ONE sequence only. That would be cool but it's a very specific circumstance and I don't think they'd include a feature like that. But then again, we are able to import Avid AND Final Cut Pro sequences so I guess anything is possible.
