I just installed the NEW PP CS3 3.1 patch for P2
Which template do you use for Progressive PAL footage?
There isn't a setting for 576i (progressive rendering) like there is for 480i, same goes for 1080. There's no 720 25p setting either, only 24p.
I made a custom DVCPRO50 Progressive PAL setting and dropped some DVCPRO50 25p footage onto it, but it wanted to be rendered. I then went back and dropped the same footage on the default DVCPRO50 setting (lower field first) and i didn't require rendering???
Can someone please explain this to me...Why can't i use my progressive footage natively?
