does it really mattter which graphic card i use?

will i see any difference when i use tha magic bullet effect on Premiere CS4 (hope soon CS5) with GTX 260 or GTX 470?
i'm talking about the realtime preview, without rendering.

Does the effect depends the CPU only or the GPU as well?

Red Giant hasn't released Looks for CS5 yet, so no one knows. But unless they design it to work with Mercury, you won't see real time playback. Looks has always been a processor intensive plugin, and it would be great if they could do that.

I am eagerly waiting for ML Looks 1.3 too. They say summer 2010 so soon.

Colorista just came out and works with PPCS5. I can correct my footage and do not need to render my timeline in PPCS5. Works great BUT I rather spend money on Looks which is SO POWERFUL!

I can't wait until it comes out.

I wrote Red Giant today and they said they hope MB Looks to be ready by next week for CS5.

I can't wait!
