Premiere CS6 blurry text

Still looks perfectly crisp here.

Maybe you have a monitor problem?

The text looks perfectly good here too ....

Hmmm... Well, like I said, the text isn't all bad, but not quite as sharp as Vegas text. Maybe I'm just spoilt as vegas text is pin sharp. Maybe Premiere text is more smoothly rendered (?) and hence giving the impression of softness? Because I have noticed that premiere text looks a tad more 'refined' than Vegas text.

Ah well. Anyway, glad to know it's a non issue and is normal :)

Looks "fine" by itself but it's definitely softer than text done in AE , Vegas, or Photoshop and converted to 4:2:0 video (subsampling won't have much of impact on "white" text anyway).

It's "normal" in that this is a known behavior with Premiere for many years - it's titler uses stonger antialiasing. Whether or not it's an "issue" depends on your point of view . Others sometimes complain that text edges produced in those other programs are too sharp and "blocky" :)

Ah I see. Thanks for the clarification. :)
