Hi Guys (and Gals).
This problem only occurs when I have recorded on a card for longer than the 20 minutes or so the file system allows and automatically starts a new clip.
When I import the PRIVATE folder and place on the timeline Premiere has very cleverly joined the clips that were automatically split in camera. So:
0001 & 0002 become just 0001 which incorporates both clips with a seemless join. Excellent, BUT i still have clip 0002 (i assume to keep the same total number on the card) and it's an exact copy of the new 0001.
So, with a card that has clips 0001 (20 minutes) and 0002 (20 minutes). I end up with: 0001 (40 minutes) and 0002 (40 minutes) in premiere.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Thanks
