  • AVCHD 1080p 30 and 25 progressive clips are interpreted as interlaced files in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 projects.
  • If the work area end position is greater than the last frame of the last clip in sequence, then entire sequence is exported instead of work area.
  • Setting sequence-marks stops playback if the multi-camera monitor is open.
  • When importing QuickTime clips in AME’s batch queue for export, certain types of metadata (such as timecode) will not be propagated to newly generated clips.

HOLY SH*****!!!!!!!
This thing actually works.
Tested 720/25p videos and it's playing back real time on my E6400 computer (Win 7 x64)!!!!!
1080/25p clips work as well!!!!! holy crap!!!!! (you need to set field order to progressive in interpret footage)

Weird, I was just about to jump in and ask who's using Premiere... I'm downloading updates right now...

It's definitely a lot faster now (application in general...loading, saving, closing) and the new AVCHD support is finally what one might have expected 7 or 8 months ago when CS4 was released.

Premiere also seems to handle memory much more efficiently now, using only what it needs at a given point and letting go of it when not using it.

Nice.

Ok...

so previously with my CS4 4.0 I had the AVCHD 1080 presets..

now after updating to CS4 4.1 I have lost my AVCHD preset and is now only left with DVCPROHD, DVCPRO50 and the rest of the SD and Mobile presets.

I try updating again, and it just says no more new updates.

What's going on?!?!

I want my AVCHD presets back!!! and i need the 720 60 preset.

Perfect timing! I have been wanting to edit 720p footage without transcoding to DVCproHD for a while now.

tested on a 2 core turion... wow 720 24p edits fine.. 720 60p chokes... Still better to convert to sd and edit than to edit native HD... or ill buy cineform
