Practicing with DVX100A and FCP

Last week I obtained a DVX100A and I took it out to a cross country meet to practice with shooting and then editing on my newly installed FCP.

All footage was shot 24p/letterbox

The "men's footage" was shot with a slow shutter speed. The "women's footage" was shot with 1/1000 shutter speed.

I am just learning both the camera and software, so any feedback would be appreciated.
