PPro to AE Import Question

So I finally made the move from FCP to PPro and can't believe I didn't do it sooner. I've figured out how to import PPro sequences into AE using dynamic linking but my question is: is there a way to import a sequence of clips so that they remain as individual clips in AE? The dynamic linking tool appears to only import the sequence as one entire clip.

That was one thing I liked about FCP - using the Popcorn Island plug in to import sequences into AE and then apply fx work to each clip individually.

Surely there is a way to do this with PPro?

You can copy and paste the clips from PPro to an AE composition. Andrew Kramer and Eran Stern show you how to do it on their sites

What you want is supported. It fact it's the "normal" way to move clips between PPro and AE. All you do is go the the timeline and click on the clip you want to work on in AE. You'll see the header change colors to indicate that you've picked it, while all the rest of the clips stay unchanged. Then you do the "File...dynamic link...replace with AE composition" thing, and just that clip shows up on AE.

At least that's how I did it a couple of weeks ago. Worked fine for me.
