I'm selling my beloved, and perfect, PowerMac G5 Quad (2 2.5 GHZ G5 processors, each with 2 cores). It's smoking fast, and filled with great extras:
* 2.5 GBs of Ram
* 250 GB hard drive
*Fast nvidia 7800 graphics card with 256 MB of ram (great for work in Motion, Aperture and games)
* Bluetooth and Airport Extreme built in
* The machine is 8 months old, and still has 2 years and 4 months left of Extended Applecare coverage, meaning if something goes wrong with it in that period, Apple repairs it for free. And yes, the extended warranty is transferable.
* Includes Keyboard and MightyMouse, and all original OS and application disks and documentation
The G5 is also the fastest Mac available when it comes to running PowerPC-only applications, such as Adobe's PhotoShop, After Effects, In Design, Flash, Dreamweaver, ProTools, Avid Xpress Pro, Combustion, and so on!
If you were to spec out this machine new at Apple's web site, and bought third party ram (because Apple's own ram is so overpriced), your pre-tax total would come to $4200. And then you could add roughly another $400 for taxes...
This really is a great machine, and is in perfect working and cosmetic condition. I'm in the LA area, near 3rd and Fairfax (the Grove, LA COunty Art Museum, Farmer's Market, etc.) and take cash.
If interested, PM me here!
