power switch repair question

has anyone had issues with the power switch? saw an hmc 150 i may buy, but they said the white lock button has to be pressed in with something to get it to allow the switch to slide on or off.

curious as to whether anyone has experienced this and if so, how did you deal with it? repaired/replaced at service shop ? cost?

or is there something i could do to fix it?

Haven't had any issue with the 2 I had.. Im sure repair will be significant but you may be able to buy the camera at a huge discount I assume? Could it be something you can live with?
