I hope they give a tweak to the 14-140 II

I did a before and after comparison for the 1.2 firmware.
Sorry it was a very dim room.

I got an answer from Panasonic factory about my many questions of Panasonic 14-140 f3.5-5.6 OIS jittering in video. They said that those jittering Youtube example videos I have posted to them looks normal and the the OIS works in factory standards (pretty low standards) and there is nothing wrong.
It is not a surprise, what else they can say. They said the same thing about 35-100 f2.8 and still they made the FW fix. But now they cant say that they have not heard about the issue of 14-140 II.
Here is one more example of "normal working OIS" in Panasonic 14-140mm f3.5-5.6. Is that normal for you?

So I updated my 35-100 and tried it out. I have to concur with what others have said: Better, but not good enough for me.
I came to the same conclusion and sold my Lumix 35-100mm f/2.8 a few weeks ago. It's fine for still photo work or video work with a tripod or physical stabilizer, but the whole point of having the OIS was to be able to shoot smooth handheld video with zero jitter. ( I think I will invest in the Olympus PRO 40-150mm f/2.8 instead )
BTW, the Panasonic 42.5mm f/1.7 OIS lens is jitter-free. ( my new headshot lens )
Is this test sensible with OIS on and on a tripod?
