Power metal music video shot on the AF100

Here's a "0€ budget" power metal video we shot last year (I was the cameraguy) using the AF100 with a combination of Sigma Nikon mount lenses and Olympus Zuiko Digital 4/3 lenses. A few glidecam + crane shots were done with a Canon 600d mostly to save time since we only had a few days to shoot the whole thing. The whole idea behind the video was to recreate a certain feel of old 70's scifi movies yet to not be too serious about it and still make it look somewhat current. All the footage was shot directly to AVCHD to SD cards so the image was a little noisy when graded but I thought the actual image quality held up fairly well when graded. Thoughts, comments...?

Looks great.

If that is "metal" then I am the pope though. :Drogar-BlackEye(DBG

Thanks, lol, true maybe not your traditional heavy metal but it was their most "radio firendly" song so it was the obvious choice. Plus here in Finland that kind of metal is very popular (Stratovarius, Nightwish etc).

Looked great!
And the "story" part really held up, acting wise, nice angles and framing etc.

I really enjoy power metal bands. But I always presume they are ment to be taken ironically.
Unfortunately power metal bands beg to differ on that...

nice job , at first when the i heard the dj on the radio and the location , i had the feeling im watching joy ride i ws waiting for the truck driver to come crashing :)
