So I am and adobe editor and my client is an FCP editor. I once asked before an the people on this forum informed me of the "Log and Transfer" function on the newer version on FCP and that has worked great in the past. My new client however is NOT on an Intel Based Mac and I have a full weekend of footage that I need to get to him in a format that his computer can handle.

My question is if I convert these file to DVCPro will that work for him? Or is there another format maybe that would be better?

AIC as well. this is what I have been transcoding to on my G5. Works well for me as I dont really ever do any type of grading etc, so no problem staying in the 4:2:0 color space of the AVCHD.

Ok well the next question is from a PC how do I convert to AIC? Any ideas? Or if I give my client the MTS files, what do they use to convert them?
