Hi all. I've misplaced the AC Adaptor for one of my DVX100A cameras. I do, however, have an AC Adaptor for a PV-GS150 camera and was wondering if it's compatible. The adaptor for the DVX100 is 18W, 7.8V and for the GS150 it's 19W, 7.9V. Will these minor differences make any difference in powering the camera? Thanks!

It's gotta be said: before deciding to switch adapters, please read the manual to ensure you aren't breaking warranty or manufacturer specifications.

If it were me, I'd use the adapter. A variance of a tenth of a volt should be within tolerance for the camera. Just be sure that the polarity of the adapter is the same as the camera ..... if the ring is negative on the adapter, the ring has to be negative on the camera. Look for the little pictures on the adapter and match on camera (may have to use the manual).

I would not do that

I would not do that

In the manual it tells you only to use charger and power equip. for dvx100 camera :Drogar-Mark-08(DBG)
