Power and Time Lapse

Hello. Does anyone know what happens if the HVX loses power during a time lapse shoot? do you lose the file? Thanks, I'd woud test it and check myself but it is currently shooting the time lapse as I write this email.

If it loses power while recording you will have to repair the file, but it should be repairable.

It saves to the P2 card so you'll lose like the last frame but your file won't be corrupt.

I do it all the time out in the field. I'll put in a fresh battery, set the time-lapse and then let it run till the battery gives up. Never had a problem.

The only problem I've ever had as far as a corrupt file was when a card was popped out as it was being recorded to.

Other than that, never had an issue with a corrupt file when the battery dies during a time-lapse.

So two questions:

How long did your battery last? And was your screen closed/off?

Repair the file: Can you elaborate on how to repair a file? But it sounds like from n8ture it won't be corrupt.
