Potentially the best settings I've found. Thoughts?

So I've been following and idly participating (ie: Using the hack and giving feedback here and there and helping the newbs) in the GH13 project but had really just been going along with recomended settings and only making minor tweaks here and there. After tweaking more and more, I went for gusto and began throwing settings at the camera left and right.

My main issue with the settings I had been using was the stopping of recording of 720 60p video. I had found what I deem stable results for the 1080 24p settings using a high overall bitrate of 80,000,000 and a modest 40,000,000 for the FHD/SH bitrate. Very rarely, if ever had I had any "motion recording stopped due to card write speed limit yada yada" with FHD (even with 24p Native).

Here it should be noted that these tests were all on class 10 cards. Two 4GB Panasonic Golds and a Transend 16 GB card.

So today I went about editing the GOP settings for the first time, and though I have had limited time to play and test, I have seemingly found settings that do not break 720p 60 (SH) and give crystal clear images in both formats. Maybe this has been done before and has a downfall, I don't know, but here goes:

1080/24p Native: Enabled
Overall Bitrate: 120,000,000
FHD/SH Bitrate: 22,000,000
GOP Size for FHD: 3
GOP Size for SH: 3

I read in another post that the high overall doesn't seemingly increase anything but the point at which the camera stops recording, so I just set that to the max.

Once I found the settings to be working, my worry was just that with the low FHD/SH bitrate it would give me mud or low detail in the 1080p image. However I figured it was worth a try to possibly keep SH/720 60p from giving write errors. Well, once I tested it on some highly detailed scenes, I got no mud in 1080 or 720 and no write errors. I also tried it on a dreaded tripod which has sometimes caused errors with a static shot, and no write errors.

I now figure that the high GOP is keeping the image from every getting muddled as every 3 frames there is another full resolution key frame.

Any thoughts on this? I figure it must have been tried before somewhere, as it isn't that revolutionary.

A huge thanks again to all the developers of the GH13 hack, especially Vitally.
