Thanks alot people! We should have rule if you don't have something to contribute but a smiley face or less. It is not about the number of posts but the content! :-X

Re: Postoholics.

I was a moderator on a group of forums based on video games, those kids were obsessed with post count, its some kind of mark of competitive belongingness...

i thought here I would never hear that...again...

Re: Postoholics.

I once was on a forum (Film Discussion) where some dude had like mass posts and questioned the validity of my take because he had more posts.

Serious. He literally thought that his opinion was RIGHT based on that fact.

Re: Postoholics.

YOU ERASED YOUR POSTS????

(i was just kidding when i said they didn't matter) heh

Re: Postoholics.

Sometimes it's the little things you say that count the most.  ;)

I don't see post count as an issue on this forum.

Now, if you had something like 2K+ posts, thought of nothing but fields of DVX's all day, and had the name of a river for a last name, that might be an issue... :P

Re: Postoholics.

Oh, no, you misunderstand, I was making a subtle reference to that other cat with a river for a last name.  Y'know, Johnny Mississippi something-or-other...  ;D

Re: Postoholics.

I don't think we've actually got a 'postaholics' on this forum... Anartiste made some joking remarks, and I followed up with some good-natured whining, but as you can plainly see I've changed my motto away from post-centric thinking.
