hello i just graduated with a BS in communication and a concentration in media production and im trying to find a job to get my foot in the door. No tv stations are hiring and all the local production companies i have talked to are small and dont need help. I am with my parents and willing to move anywhere in the US (i would like to move somewhere in cali, ny or chicago), but ill need to make some money with this production job, or have time to get another part time job.
i am just wondering where i should go, and ive been looking at mandy.com a bunch. I see where people have posted about themselves and i assume i should post my info under the runners/newcomers section since im looking for an entry-level or trainee job. anyone know if this is a good idea, to post most things here it costs money but i cant find how to post under the looking for a job section... anyone know what i need to do? or know any entry-level or trainee type jobs that hire? i want to check out the T3 trainee program but i think they only hire in like february.
