So the Wife and I made a 3600 mile tour of some portion of the Western US, with emphasis on Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and The Arches (before they closed... luckily...).

Here's one from the Grand Teton NP.
F/16, 1/125, 200 ISO. Jpeg capture sRGB.
(resized for 'convenient'... web display... and not cleaned up on the 'dust'... too many changing of lenses under non-optimal conditions...)

My very last gig with the D7000 before trading up:

Snookie (Jersey Shore) frame grab from a D7000 video shoot - I prefer Nikon's color rendering to Canon's for video any day:

Another video frame with an old Series E 100mm 2.8 - killer portrait & beauty lens you can find for a hundred bucks or so.

I'll bite. Here are a couple of promo shots from a recent short I did, shot on my trusty 5 (or is it 6?!) year-old D300 (which has probably taken well over a 100,000 photos by now and is still plugging away - it's a beast, probably the single most impressive piece of equipment I've ever owned as far as longetivity, reliability and performance are concerned). It's also paid itself off about 40x over in that time. If only all the equipment I bought paid its way that well!

My boring attendance at the Wife's 40th Highschool Reunion... who are these people? Why am I not home posting meaningless posts to useless fora?? Why don't I take up drinking beer and watching spectator pro sports events and whine about the cost of cable TV for such? etc...

Shot with a D600 at f/5 @ 1/8 second @ ISO 1600, jpeg capture, max quality. Converted to B&W via Photoshop Channel Mixer, with some boost in contrast with Curves.

Since this is a grab shot, I'm ok with the softness, and the ISO 1600 seems ok to me. I don't detect any real 'pattern noise' in the dark areas.

Should have probably focused on the fellow with glasses on the left, so that even with the shallow DoF, all the people at this table may have been 'in the zone'.

New school - D7000 I'd guess (been a Nikon guy for some time...)

A recent shoot with my D750 and classic Zeiss 85mm. I basically use the D750 like a mirrorless camera with this lens, staying in live view the whole time and focusing using the fantastic Zacuto Z-Finder. Lighting is a mix of the sun and one Elinchrom Quadra head through a beauty dish slightly camera left.
