Hey there guys -well as of tomorrow I will be an HPX500 owner - so before i wet my pants hehe...

I will post a pic of the lens ive got. This is all thanks to Hunter, who gave me great lens advice (and others on the forum)

I got a J Canon 6x8 WideAngle

So let's see what lens the rest of you have!

yeah.. true. girls in lithuania are beautiful :)

I bought the lens on ebay for 11k, perfect condition, used half a year..

The Angenieux lenses are awesome! They have great support and service. If you aren't sure if you want one or not, all serious inquiries can get a loaner to try.

Their new 19X lens is pretty sweet.

We just became a dealer because we just can't get any other lenses from anyone else (Canon & Fuji) and the Angenieux glass just looks great!

Wow maybe I need to go there next summer with my friend... his wife is Lithuanian... or better yet... he has an annual wine party in the Hollywood Hills... just have the girls come here...
 
We have the J8x6 too, great SD lens...HD looks mighty fine too.

It's running around $2,500-$4,000 used, of course.

By the way if anyone has an original shade & cap for the j8x6 in good condition, I'm willing to grab it off your hand. The Cavision shade is not so good.

I have the Fijinon HAC13x4.5 cinezoom and the Canon EJ 6mm prime

I also have a friend with a Canon HJ21ex7.8 with 2x that I borrowe when need be.

All of these are amazing lenses but they are crazy expensive. But they're mostly used on my varicam or his F900r. I actually don't get that many gigs with my HPX500

the Canon EJ series are nice lenses, my only complaint is that their focus ring is too far back. They fixed that on the newer Fj series but they are crazy expensive.

a friend of mine has a full set of Zeiss digi primes but they beyond crazy expensive.

we have to make a custom spacer for the chrosziel follow focus gears to reach. The primes are used to shoot commercials here almost everyday. Its pretty sharp for the HPX500.
