post your fav settings.

SEARCH your "Favorite Settings" to achieve "the information", e.g. what has been discussed many, many times, etc, ....even recently.

One of my fav settings has gotta be the beach. You know - sunset by the water. I may light some candles, put on some jazz. I like the setting to be just right for the little lady... make it all nice so that we might dine on some fine fare, enjoying the tropical breeze. Feeling bold, I may suggest a backrub, starting at the nape of the neck, moving ever so gently.

Seriously, dude, there's a reason for the SEARCH button. Just by posting this topic, you've already managed to bury some other posts that discuss, guess what, settings.

Yo I understand how annoying some questions get, but this one doesn't merit the stern responses. This isn't technical like "whats that click noise" where there is only one answer. This is preference and opinion. Like asking "Whats your favorite color?"
To which you reply, "use the search function to find out what the favorite color is"
Get it? Plus there might be new people or people who have never piped up who might want to respond now. So chillllll go get that back rub, enjoy the beach.

Use SEARCH. Get it?

It's a pretty convenient and powerful function. For someone who's personally spent a good deal of time and effort providing settings on this forum, there's nothing more annoying than having good threads get buried by redundant, obvious topic requests.

Regardless of whether it relates to settings or any other technical matter, one of the main reasons this forum gets so bogged down is by people creating brand new threads when (many times) there simply is no need for one. Chill? Please.....

If in fact, they are new and haven't posted before, that's all the more reason to SEARCH beforehand. Trust me. I did the exact same thing, got chewed out for it and didn't do it again.

It doesnt merit a stern response, it merits a spanking!.
For crying out loud. This place is a gold mine. Some kids are too lazy to look for anything,
like this ANCIENT thread dated 10-21-07:

or this one which is extremely hard to find (hint: its a sticky):

or this one:

or this one:

There has been a tremendous amount of valuable information contributed on these boards, specifically on the topic of scene file settings thanks to the efforts of people like Fevercity, Evebite, Larry R, MobilDeli, Heisest, to name just a few. If someone wants to "pipe up" and CONTRIBUTE something, thats great. If someone wants to post a lazy question, they contribute nothing but their own relevance.
