I think it's fine. Not sure how much it weighs but it's not very heavy. I do run with the cam on the end of a tripod over my shoulder with that lens unsupported. Been doing a fair bit of that over the years n it's not showing any signs of fatigue. If any thing was gonna cause a problem I'd have thought that would. Wouldn't put a heavier lens unsupported on there though.

One of the best things I bought that I use on all my cameras now, is the edelkrone evf holder. I use it with the dp6 smallhd. It's really neat.

Wayyyy too front-heavy of a rig to handhold, so I had to pull it off the mount to carry around...
