Here is a random pic from a while back.

Re: Post a screenshot...

Not a political statement, just out doing what we all love, shooting video. Shot at the campus of UCF.

Re: Post a screenshot...

Shot a 5-minute short this weekend after picking up the DVX, just to test it out and have a little fun. Sample screens below - I'll link to a Quicktime when the cut's done. Cheers.

Curugon

Just checking out the DVX huh? I cant wait to see what you show us when you have it all figured out; These are very nice.

Re: Post a screenshot...

Curugon, did you use the mini 35? It looks like ya did.

BTW, love the Final Fantasy avatar. That Cecil?

Re: Post a screenshot...

Thanks for the encouraging welcome! Yes, I'm very happy with the DVX so far.

Mark - nope, that's just the basic lens. I haven't tried the mini 35 but heard some good things about it.

Yep, that's good old Cecil from FFIV (FFII in the US). I shot a home movie version of that game when I was 12 - wish I had the DVX back then! ;D

Re: Post a screenshot...

Yep, the Final Fantasy series is brilliant. Thank god they're making Final Fantasy VII Advent children. Final Fantasy VII deserves it. Hell, everyone of the Final Fantasies made so far deserves a sequel and/or movie, especially the ones on SNES. You could go with sortofa LOTR feel with those!!!! ;D

This is a framegrab from some test shots I did on Tuesday (Oct 12) for my upcoming movie "The Fire".
I know the DOF is cliche, but the DVX just makes so much better images than any of my other cameras, it's just too much fun to play around with the focus.

I guess I should mention this is a DVX100A with the ana. adaptor lens, shooting F5 with the master ped at -7 ND 1/64, open iris, 1/24 shutter.

Re: Post a screenshot...

Wow, these are inspiring. I'm gonna go get some shots. This is the best kind of motivation. Great grabs!!!

Re: Post a screenshot...

Crazy looking guns! I don't think I have ever seen anything like them before.

Re: Post a screenshot...

There are bayonets mounted to the side obstructing the view of the barrels, they appear to be normal bolt action rifles. :)
