Hey group,

I am considering getting out of the video biz and moving strictly into still photography. I have a practically new (very low hr) DVX100A with 4yr extended warranty and a couple of extra DVXUser batteries. The camera was purchased last February from EVS but has been used very little. Any idea what the going rate for this kit would be? If I can get a fair amount, I'll probably go ahead and sell...Wanted to post it here first. I purchased the camera for $3379 + $165 (4 yr. warranty).

You can contact me at andrew@crystalclearmedia.com

Thanks for your consideration,

I would probbaly buy a DVXuser battery at $45 used, postage paid. Let me know i fyou want to sell them.

Used DVX100a seem to sell around $2500-$2700, but I personally chose to buy a new one last month for net $3075 (+-) including all the bonuses (book battery, MB, tapes, etc) Having 4yr warranty probably adds a little to value, makes it much easier to sell.

Thanks for the response. That is good news.. I was hoping to get around that for the package. It literally has barely been used. I bought it for filmmaking, but got tied up with darn weddings and concert shoots mainly. Used different cameras for most of them. If I can get $2650, I'll sell it. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Thanks again!

Andrew, can you tell us how many hours you have on it. Also, did you get a copy of magic bullet and Barry's book?

Where did you get your camera at Galt?

31 hrs. No I did not get a copy of Magic Bullet or the book.

The camera is in MINT condition, Mack 4 yr extended warranty, purchased from the fine people at EVS. Includes original packaging, and 2 extra DVXUser batteries.
