I was wondering if anyone had ever tried to remove the built in microphone off the dvx-100a? It would be a lot easier to deal with the filters with the matte box I'm using without it.
If it's hard wired inside, obviously this would not be easy and of course, the remote control sensor is in the area as well, but I figured I would ask here before poking around.
