Possible to record 1080p with HPX and Nanoflash?

Hi,

will use a HPX and Nanoflash tomorrow on a shoot. When trying some settings, HPX only gives an interlaced signal to Nanoflash. Do anyone know if you can record 1080p with HPX and Nanoflash, or is HDSDI limited to 1080i? In that case how? Since I can only get an 720p progressive signal.

Thanks!

The HD-SDI outputs 1080/60i. When set to 24p mode it embeds 24p with 2:3 pulldown. The Nano has a setting that will strip that pulldown out and record it as a native 24p signal.

Tried removing the 2:3 pulldown and got an progressive signal, but the result didn't match up with the interlaced signal which was much sharper and cleaner. As if the Nanoflash deiinterlaced the interlaced signal, anyhow the result wasn't worth taking.
