Possible Christmas Gift: HVX200 Operator Manual

Panasonic often posts Operator Manuals on their Web site. Does anyone know if this is typically done after a product starts delivering or if it is sometimes done beforehand?

I was just wondering, because it's likely the camera won't be in anyone's hands until the new year, and it would be a great Christmas present to be able to download it early and start learning how to use the camera over the holidays. (Considering the feature list, I'm certain there will be a LOT to learn.) I would imagine the layout is already done considering the printed copies have to be packaged up for the Dec. 29 delivery.

The manual might be the perfect gift for myself for christmas. All the sizzle and not the steak. Only thing better might be more promo video shot on the 200 with some possible comparrison footage from the other indi-hd cameras.

Wo-ah . . . now THAT'S a really good idea!

The "film mode" Barry Green has mentioned sounds particularly intriguing. I'd be interested to see how far they take that in the operating procedures. I'd also like to see how they've handled operating single-frame mode (for stop motion animation).

The Operating Manual would be great. I'm also patiently waiting for Barry's book. Is there an HD Rack out yet? Maybe NAB 2006?

Let's ask Jan C.-L. to post a link to the manual so we can should right away once we have that baby in our hands
