Positives for EX1R firmware 1.10

Preliminary personal test of the new 1.10 firmware on my EX1R shows that my MxM and MxR adapters with Transcend class 6 and Sandisk ultra II 16GB cards show full 60fps slow mo ability without any problems.

Also there is a major improvement in startup time . Camera turns on faster. Camera goes into media mode faster.

I'll answer the snark.

On long shoot days I usually keep shutting the camera off and on to conserve battery power. I only use Sony batteries. The same I used for my EX1. I also have both the evf and lcd on continuously. For what its worth, today 4 hours of on and off shooting with a rare moment when I had the cam on without shutting off for about 1 hour and did a 25 minute continuous record take. Indoors. The cam was cool. SxS card was cool.
