Portland, Oregon Meeting Set

Our second DVXuser group meeting has been set for Monday, June 13th.

This time we'll meet in East Portland around 6:00 PM. We'll announce the location (probably Red Robin) and provide directions soon. All are welcome! We have a number of Photoshop and Premiere books to give away. Come and meet your fellow forum participants; share ideas and develop contacts for your next shoot.

The location/directions to the red robin in Gresham are as follows....

From I-84 East take the 181st Ave exit (exit 13) towards Gresham
Turn right onto 181st Ave
Turn left onto E Burnside Street, E Burnside street becomes SE burnside road
Turn right onto NW eastman parkway
Turn right onto NW division street
End at 789 NW division
 
Yeah.. not the one on monday but the next one you guys do. Hell im in Vancouver, so its not that big of a reach.
 
Yea deffinetly. I would love to go up there, I probably will at some point to shoot for my bike video. I was slated to be in whistler on the 30th of June, but work conflicts made it impossible. BC is beautifal country!

That would be myself. and Nick. As far as I know Nick is not a member of DVXuser.com, but he is an avid film maker, and cool guy.
 
yea, did you read his article in the mercury, it was pretty interesting. He's deffinetly a character. BTW Ryan, we should work out the details on your use of my camera, like I said, I am going to have to jet early, but I'll be there for a little while at least.....
 
So apparently the last meeting in Portland was a year and a half ago. Quite a few more Portland DVXUser members have joined since then. Is someone going to host a new one in January?
