Portable DVD Player Problem

Hello everyone. I recently bought a LG DP 561 B Portable DVD player, and i wanted to use it as a monitor for the Sony FX 1000 video camera. DVD player has AV out, I combined all the necessary cables but could not see the image displayed on it. There are no options in the menu, so I am now interested in whether there is any possibility that this thing work?

you actually need "AV in". Usually there´s a switch for this, but not all players have this function.

Unless there is an AV in port, there is no way to provide a video feed.
