Popping Sound While Fast Forwarding

Hey,
When i have my DVX hooked up to the com, and am capturing in Premiere, when i fast forward i get a loud popping sound through the speakers....
poppopopopoppopopo very quick....Umm anyone elses have this?
and is it alright....just loud and annoying...
 
I had the same thing happen. It was annoying but no big deal. Since i moved up to Premiere Pro 2.0 I haven't heard it. I'll check again. It's probably just the computer trying to scrub the audio in fast motion and it can't handle it. Do yourself a favor and buy a cheap mini DV for a capture deck and never worry about your DVX again. No wear and tear on the heads.
