MUSIC VIDEO: POP/DANCE - "Like That" - Need Feedback! Still Working On It!

Now that I see the whole thing together, I actually kind of feel like you should go all the way greenscreen.

Some of the effects you did were over the top, but frankly fit the mood and content. I especially enjoyed the sliding shot of the guy with sunglasses at 2:02. It has a very 80's vibe to it, but I like that and I think it works with the music.

I do think the shots on the couch and the the girl in the bed are nice, so you could keep those, but they wouldn't mix well if the video was primarily greenscreened.

I guess the point i'm trying to get across is, I don't know if you should even worry at all about having a story to this piece. The content of the song doesn't really lend itself to telling a story, so I personally say go as funky and crazy as you can with effects.

I wouldn't really call what I'm going to do a story. All I'm planning to do is shoot a scene before the beginning starts where he is walking to the house, he then sees a note on the door to come inside with probably lipstick on it, he goes in, and is then looking around the house. He turns and looks at the couch, and then bam, someone is on it doing their thing, he turns and looks at another spot and then bam, same thing, and then at the end he finds the one he has been looking for, follows her to the bedroom, and she's gone. So the whole thing is like a big tease, not really a story, just something to tie things together a tiny little bit. It won't be a lot of scenes, just short flashes here and there. If it doesn't work we will see what we do next. I'm glad you like the things I'm doing with it though. Hopefully what I do next will be even better.
