I'm looking at circular polarizing filters 4x5.65 for my matte box. Technically I imagine they all do the same thing. But how can one know how good the glass is, whether manufacturers' claims of superior manufacturing technique or edge treatment are important? I see a large variation between various manufacturers' prices. How much difference is there really?
