POISON music video

Looking good mate Cool idea but aren't those guys too old to be in the game they look very tragic but i like the vid if that makes sense.
 
Bah.. people get old my friend. Doesn't mean jack if they aren't all hip to the latest bulls***, and it is all bulls*** just with younger faces. Same old media machine.

The video looks great. Excellent job. Entertaining.
 
Great job and a nice spin on an old favorite.
Did you use After Effects or something else
for the page turns and compositing?
 
Great job. You really make the HVX200 look so good. Would you please share your setting for the wide band shots??
I look forward to working as a handheld camera operator at the stage Poison will be performing on at the New York State Fair on August 24th.

Hey! The effects were done by the effects house (I forgot where) and the edit was done at Mad River Post. It was a quick turnaround so there wasn't much we could do. But the page turns were stop motion on a physically made yearbook.

The HVX was set to the most flat settings I could find. The post people were supposed to treat the footage heavily after editing, but either they forgot or ran out of time. I expected them to make the footage look really crazy, but they just used what came off the camera, which was just a clean signal. It was lit like crazy, as the HVX loves to have lots of light.
