Point of view is simply what character's point of view we are watching a film from. Who's story is it about. I shot the same scene and did 2 different edits, each favoring a different character. Although the scene is the same, and the actors performances are the same, the edit makes the viewer sympathize and connect with the characters differently.

to be correct, point of view is "to be in the head of the character and to see what the character sees

That's a Point of View shot. Story telling is always done from a specific character's point of view. Granted it can change in a scene, but rarely is a movie from an omniscient perspective.

agreed, editing the same clips in different ways can and will change the way we perceive a given scene. By the way, what was this shot on. I looks like it was done on a dslr, but seems very videoish like. Maybe it's the high sharpening, high contrast look of the clips.

It was shot on a Panasonic HMC 150
