I'm not sure how old it is, I bought it second hand from another DVX forum member about a month ago. I haven't really used it much in that time, the work I do requires I be able to move more freely than this slider allows. As near as I can tell it functions fine, though there are a few cosmetic defects. First, the top of the carriage has a couple scrapes and the rails have a couple tiny nicks (these blemishes were there when I received it). I haven't found these to effect the performance of the slider, though again I haven't been able to use it that much.
