Just arrived what do you want to know about it?
We'll the arm for the LCD/Viewfinder is fairly solid, but the eyepiece that covers the LCD feels fairly cheap. As for ergonomics, hmmm... I thought it'd be better. You have to hold it very close to your head the viewfinder distance is adjustable, but honestly it just isn't as good as I expected. I've have gotten used to the iris, focus, and zoom. The semi-shoulder is the problem, although it could have been a lot worse. It's adjustable so you can set the distance, but you do need to keep pressure on it to hold it up. Still id say it handles about the same or slightly better than the Canon XL-1 (my best reference). Is the arm holding the LCD/Viewfinder it sturdy enough? Does it feel cheap?
How are the new ergonomics? Does the semi-shoulder feel right?
Gimme another day with it (tomorrow) and I'll give you the full run down.Audio:
- Does it do line/mic or just a reel of negative dB numbers?
- Does it still have a limiter that limits audio with a swift right hander to the cheek?
- Does it still tinkle with high energy low frequency audio?
Lens:
- Does the shot transition work in concert between lens and focal length?
- Does shot transition as a whole 'work' for you?
Ergonomics
- Does it balance in a 3 point system for you?
- Is there a little joystick similar to EX1 for full menu system?
Lots more questions, will wait for second round.![]()
Audio was never recorded in under/overcrank modes.
