Is the 14x lens that comes with the Sony pmw-300k1 a constant aperture lens? What is the dynamic range of this camera? I would be shooting in xavc-i 100mb.
I found a review of the pmw300 by Alister Chapman at xdcam-user.com. No mention of the 14x lens ramping, however Alister thinks the camera has about 11.5 stops of dynamic range. Not bad for an eng type camera.
