E ex1r777 Active member Oct 27, 2012 #2 My Rode Ntg-2 picks up servo zoom sound when directly mounted onto my ex1r. However when you mount the mic to a shock mount (for example rode sm-5), and then attach the shock mount to the camera, the issue is gone. Maybe you should try the same?
