Plural Eyes Users, Feedback Please

I have been testing audio with the H4n and syncing to GH1 video with Plural Eyes tonight, preparing for a bunch of interviews I will be shooting this weekend and next week.

First, Plural Eyes has been flawless in every test. Wow, it is amazing software.

Here's my question. After you sync the wav file and the video, Plural Eyes creates a new sequence that is synced and, (with my limited abilities in Final Cut Pro,) it looks like this is the version that you can now edit into your main timeline. It seems to be working that way. But when I watched the tutorial by Phil Bloom, he advised to export the synced video as a reference movie and then import back into the bin as a clip to edit.

How are you Plural Eyes users handling this?

Thanks!

I've only used Plural Eyes on one thing really so far. I did a really crappy job of keeping track of my recorder and my video, so I had to do a bunch of syncing on my own as well, but don't get me wrong, PluralEyes was still a huge help, worked better than I thought it would (Though not as well as my wildest dreams, which I knew were unreasonable to begin with).

What I ended up doing, which was clunky, was copy and paste from the Plural Eyes sequences into the main sequence. Not the way I'd do it again.

If you just want to edit on the timeline you don't need to export a reference movie. If you want to edit using a multiclip and there are many clips, it is often more convenient to export each track as a reference move. See this tutorial for details.
