Plugins and 24p v 24pa

Never used either Magic Bullet or Nattress plugins, just got both for project, does it make any difference whether I shoot in 24p or 24p advanced, insofar as getting best result after applying filters in post? Just going to output back to tape (Digibeta) and 29.97 dvds.
 
The pulldown scheme doesn't have anything to do with visual effects.

If you're editing on a 24p timeline, shoot 24pA. If not, shoot 24p standard.
 
What David said... but also 24pA is really an editing format, not for playback. If you want to go back out to tape to DigiBeta for broadcast, you'll want to output 24p Normal mode. For DVD, you can actually make a true 24p DVD with no pulldown.
